You have dreams of traveling and exploring the world and you want to do it someday!
But, does that need you to be a full-time Digital Nomad or a Backpacker to enjoy traveling? My answer would be, No!
Traveling with family while having a full-time job can be equally enriching and euphoric!
Hey There!
I am Jayati and a warm welcome to my virtual world of Between Longitudes!
I am the content creator for Between Longitudes, and I take care of all the pre & post content planning, image editing, social media posts, and related resources. Needless to mention, my better half takes all the photos while I am enjoying the Colosseum or gorging on crispy Paper Dosa in Udupi.
We took a break from active travel when our son was born and till his 1st birthday. From then till now, we have been traveling as a family (our son is a teenager now) and some of our best memories were created while traveling together.
In this blog, you will find destination guides, travel itineraries, guided tour recommendations, and travel tips all from a historical and cultural point of view.
Why did I start this Blog?
For me, travel is much more than just learning history or taking photos. Rather, it is more about witnessing a lifestyle, bonding with locals, and gaining rich cultural experiences. I created this blog as a platform to share destination ideas, swap stories, and foster a like-minded community of curious travellers.
Travel Style
We are mid-range budget travelers and love a combination of high and low price ranges. We would choose to stay in a good AirBnB to be at the heart of the historic center and meet locals. On the other hand, we’ll indulge in a luxury heritage hotel if that catches our fancy,
in unique experiences, guided historical & cultural tours, and food tours while traveling outside India (and sometimes in India as well).
We prefer to take things slowly for an immersive experience at the destination rather than being in a hurry to cover several places in the same time frame. As an example, while a Europe tour across several countries can be plugged in for 3 weeks, we had spent the same amount of time exploring only Italy.
When we are not traveling, we are working full time and planning for our next trip!
